Summer Board Games

You’re soaking up the sun, going on vacations abroad, or in your own city. What could make it better? Some board games which are just great to play in summer! But you don’t have to spend time doing your research because we have already done it for you. Here are some games to take on vacation with you this summer.

1. Alias Alias is a team-based word-explanation game that's a lot of fun. The object of the game is to get your teammates to correctly guess the word you're explaining by providing them with hints and tips throughout the explanation. One step forward is gained for each correct guess. The team that makes it to finish first wins. Get a travel version of Alias to take with you on the next trip!

2. MadWish Summer For a day at the beach, there's nothing better than Madwish: Summer Edition. The classic 'Truth or Dare' match is transformed into a day of challenges and delights in this version of the game. Activities done at the beach are the focus of the assignments, which will make a typical day at the beach more memorable.

3. Azul Évora's Moorish art serves as inspiration for this cooperative tile-laying game. You'll find a variety of colorful resin components in the small square box, which you can use to create mosaic patterns on the table. Learning the rules is a breeze, the game itself is portable and it can't easily be blown off the table. 2-4 players aged 8 and up are able to participate in the game, which lasts about 30 to 45 minutes.

4. Klask This one is technically not a bard game but not everyone at your summer party will want to play them, so here's one to offer an alternative. It's called Klask, and it's kind of like an air hockey game that you can take with you. It would look great on a strong table next to the cornhole set. Of course, it would be problematic to take with you if you are traveling abroad by plane but definitely look into it for the summer parties in your backyard.

5. Pandemic Many modern board games are highly cooperative. This means that players have to work together to win the game. There is no one person who wins or loses.

COVID is still fresh in our minds. Have you ever thought about what you'd do if you were a scientist trying to find a cure? Now you can! In Pandemic, you play as a group of scientists who are trying to stop a set of deadly diseases from spreading around the world. You can only save the day and the world if you all work well together.

Any of Mad Party Games can also be played at a BBQ party or be taken with you on vacation, so don’t forget to check out our party games on our webshop and on your favorite platforms!
